New electrolyte drink, Ultima Replenisher will fuel and hydrate runners on-course at the 2014 BMO Vancouver Marathon
Vancouver, BC – January 15, 2014 – As the official electrolyte sport drink of the BMO Vancouver Marathon, Ultima Replenisher will play an important role in hydrating runners on May 4th, 2014. Runners will have the support of grape flavoured Ultima Replenisher at 16 stations on the Marathon course as well as six locations along the Half Marathon. The stations are dispersed evenly throughout both courses to ensure that runners have maximum opportunity to replenish with vital electrolytes.
Known for containing zero sugar and no artificial flavours, sweeteners or preservatives, Ultima Replenisher provides the eight essential electrolytes: calcium, chloride, magnesium, potassium, sodium, selenium, zinc, and phosphorus. Ultima Replenisher is also gluten-free, vegan and 100% non-GMO. The balanced formula allows for rapid re-hydration without blood sugar spikes or stomach upsets.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Ultima Replenisher this year,” said Charlene Krepiakevich, Executive Director of the Vancouver International Marathon Society, the non-profit organization responsible for the BMO Vancouver Marathon. “The Ultima Replenisher brand truly fits with the vision of the event by promoting and encouraging healthy lifestyle choices; they are a great addition to the race experience.”
“We are delighted to be part of the 2014 BMO Vancouver Marathon,” said Seth Bovio, marathoner and President of Ultima Health Products. “Appropriate hydration is an essential component of a runner’s race day plan.
