At Kenneth Gordon Maplewood School (KGMS), we believe in the power of education to transform lives. For over 50 years, we’ve been dedicated to providing an inclusive and supportive environment for K-12 students with learning differences such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD and anxiety, nurturing their talents and empowering their potential.
We’re excited to be participating in the BMO RUN4HOPE with over 30 of our KGMS community members running to support KGMS kids. This event aligns perfectly with our mission and values, as it allows us to further advocate for and provide resources to those who need it most. Please visit our KGMS BMO RUN4HOPE Team Profile Page to learn more about our school, and to support our run.
As we lace up our running shoes and prepare to hit the pavement, we’re not just running for ourselves. We’re running for the future of every child who walks through the doors of KGMS. We’re running to break down barriers and create opportunities for success. And most importantly, we’re running to show the world the incredible potential that lies within each and every one of our students.
But don’t just take our word for it. We invite you to watch the heartfelt testimonials from our Class of 2023, KGMS graduates who have experienced firsthand the impact of our school community. These inspiring individuals have overcome challenges, embraced their differences, and emerged as confident, capable leaders ready to take on the world.
At KGMS, we support our students through:
- Tailored Programs for Individual Success
- Daily 1:1 tutoring
- Orton-Gillingham Methodology Integration
- Multi-sensory Learning Opportunities
- Co-Taught Classrooms & Small Classroom Sizes
- Social-emotional learning curriculum
So join us, as we come together as a community to make a difference. Whether you’re running alongside us, cheering from the sidelines, or spreading the word, your involvement is invaluable.
Together, we can inspire futures and change the lives of children with learning differences.
Thank you for your support!
